PORT ST. LUCIE, Florida – Kennesaw State’s women’s golf program leads the pack after the first 36 holes of the Jupiter Women’s Invitational at the PGA Golf Club.
The record-breaking day began in the first round, after breaking a program record for a weak team in a course by 71 to 278 strokes, shattering the previous record of 289 set in 2014.
KSU posted a par 290 of 6 in the second round, adding to a total of 36 holes of par 568, another team record par 71. As a team, the Owls are in first place and hold a five-stroke lead over Florida. Atlantic.

Cameron Neilson led the way with a par of 3 under par 68 in the first round and six birdies, followed by a par for the second round. She scored a total of 36 holes of 3 under par 139 and in third place.
Neilson’s first-round performance broke the program record for the lowest individual score for an 18-hole par 71 round, previously held by Kaew Preamchuen. She ended up breaking the record of 36 holes par 71, previously held by Inès Lescudier.
Bella kil shot a 1 under par 70 in the first round with an eagle on the 11e hole, his second eagle of the season. She followed it with a par 72 of 1 in the second round, finishing the first day tied for 5th.
Alizee Vidal tied par in the first and second rounds and had eight birdies. She also finished the first day tied for 5th.
Tori Owens rounds recorded of 2 under par 69 and 5 over par 76 will open the third round tied for 10th. Lara jecnik posted a score of 6 over par 77 in the first round, followed by a score of 8 over par 79 in the second round.
