Erin raises $5 million in funding

Erina Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based provider of an employee referral platform raised $5 million in funding.

The round was led by Reformation Partners with participation from BlueTree VC, Grouse Ridge Capital, Yoshimi Iyadomi and existing investor LabCo NYC.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its market reach, develop innovative new features and continue to provide support to its customers.

Led by CEO Mike Stafiej, Erin provides a platform that enables companies to automate employee referrals from the referral point through bonus payment. The mobile app has gamification and tracking features that allow employees to stay active in their company’s talent acquisition initiatives, generating more overall referrals and increasing the number of converted referral hires.

In addition to automating referrals and providing gamification features to drive adoption, the solution offers an AI component that benefits both employees and candidates in terms of career development. The internal mobility feature set reduces turnover and closes the career development gap for large companies by connecting employees to the next stage of their career in their organization. The referral network add-on boosts candidate engagement by helping employees know which positions candidates are suitable for.
